Once you file for a provisional patent can you take out some of the pages to make it cheaper as they charge a lot for over 100 pages (design and etc)
ANSWER
If it's an appendix which is adding to the size of your application, try printing two pages on one side, just for the appendix. Or use a smaller font.
If you remove pages, you will not be able to rely on the information in those pages to provide support for your invention, so I would pay the extra fees or try submitting appendix only items printed two per page. You might get a formalities objection on this but my experience is that the patent office is flexible with the content of an appendix.

Dr Patentsteins' Tips
When you think you might have an invention with sales potential, immediately discuss the idea with a registered patent practitioner | Ensure you sketch all significant elements of your invention on paper, writing as much detail and comments regarding its' operation | After creating any descriptions or sketching your invention, ensure a witness (or even two) sign the paper to support your claim |
