What are the minimum requirements for obtaining a filing date for a Swiss design patent application?
ANSWER
The minimum requirements to obtain a filing date are: name and address of the applicant, sample or reproduction of the design. The deadlines for filing any missing documents are set by the Swiss Patent Office, generally two to three months after the filing date; a one-month extension is normally available.
